Indian ROSE

The beautiful fragrance of freshly cut Indian rose (Desi gulab) from Aligarh (U.P.).

This fragrance symbolizes of love, harmony and beauty and is very uplifting, cleansing and purifying.

 

Bela (Jasmine ‘Sambac’)

Fragrance of this little white flower is unique and very enthusiastic

For many centuries Bela Oil has been one of the most valuable oils used in aromatherapy

The sweet, heady fragrance of Bela from south India is its distinct feature.

 A notable attribute of the intense, sweet essence emitted from the shrub's clusters of white star-shaped flowers is its wonderful chemical properties that produce a euphoric response.

 

Lavender

Fragrance of lavender is floral and sweet and also has herbal notes with balsamic undertones. Lavender essential oils are commonly used in aromatherapy to relieve muscle spasms and stimulate circulation.

Sandal

It has a rich, balsamic, sweet fragrance with delicate woody notes.

Since ages it is being used to prepare all types of perfume compositions especially Indian attars like Hina, Gulab, Kewda and Jasmine in which the natural essential oils from floral distillation are absorbed in sandalwood fragrance.

Sandalwood fragrance has relaxing properties and also reduces stress and promotes restful sleep.

 

Green tea

Has a note of Japanese scent, Its pleasant, herbal and refreshing aroma gives it a stylish impression.

 

Lemongrass

Lemongrass is widely used for its aromatic properties. The scent is relaxing and not painful to the nose. The fragrance of lemongrass also has an effect to the human senses, It helps you calm down and relieves your stress and even insomnia.  Just a few spray of GRATIA lemongrass room fragrance can easily get a good night sleep.

Tea Tree

Group: citrus

The aroma tea tree oil is strong but pleasant. Tea tree oil is one of the most extensively researched essential oils, and one of the most backed by the findings and conclusions discovered from the studies done on it. It is produced from a shrub like tree by the name of Melaleucaalternifolia, which is found along streams and in swampy areas in its native land of Australia. GRATIA uses pure Australian tea tree oil in its products.

Your hair can be greatly benefited from tea tree oil. It works to prevent lice and hair loss, as well as treating dandruff and dry scalp.

 

Bergamot

Group: Citrus

Citrusy, bitter and sour, elegant light note, complex with nuances of fruit and aromatic elements.

Its scent is fruity-sweet with mild spicy note. Bergamot oil is used in production of many perfumes formulated by Govindam Flavours, mainly in top notes.

 

Patchouli

Group: woody

An exotic bush that grows mainly in India and Indonesia, the leaves of which produce the essential oil of patchouli. Sweet, dark, with an earthy, woody edge, it is very popular in many blends, especially the contemporary woody floral musk.

 

Geranium

Group: Citrus

Gives a rosy nuance, less powdery and more lemony than rose.

These lovely flowers grow in all temperate regions of the world, but mostly in the eastern Mediterranean region. Geraniums are prized for their beautiful flowers and are appreciated especially for their fragrance, which is a bit similar to that of Rose.

 

Cocoa

Group: sweet

Has a note deriving from patchouli essence, deep and not particularly sweet, chocolatey fragrance with a dusty and bitterish edge.

Cocoa butter (natural cocoa fat) has a soft, buttery fragrance, with sweet and irresistible richness feel.

 

Shea

Group: nutty

Has a mild nutty scent.

 

Palmarosa

Group: Floral

This essential oil has a sweet floral aroma similar to rose or geranium.

Palmarosa is a perennial aromatic grass with stiff, upright, yellow or yellow-green stems supported by a small but penetrating root system.

 

Hina

Group: Spicy

A traditional Indian fragrance. Made from various roots and spices. Its fragrance has a warm effect on the body and therefore it is used primarily in the winter season.

 

Shamama

Group: Spicy

Shamama – A compound of fragrant spices, herbs, woods, etc.

The distillation of Shamama is quite similar to that of Hina but the types of roots and spices used are different.Shamama "Musk Hina" Attar belongs to the HIna Family of Attars, which includes Amberi. Shamama and Amberi Attars are highly complex Oriental Perfumes that require up to two months to make utilizing a number of different distillation techniques and well over 60 ingredients.
